About FCU ROTC Unit
The functions of the FCU-ROTC Unit are conducting regular instruction and military training to the cadets every Saturday. There are fifteen days meeting in one semester. They have different activities to challenge the cadets like military drills and exercises. They aim to develop leadership and discipline among the cadets. The ROTC program provides military training to prepare college students for possible service in the defense establishments in the event of emergency. This program is also enlisted reservists for the service components of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The activities of FCU ROTC Unit are conducting regular instructions every Saturday, performing exercises and military drills such as marching, and riffle drill. There were tree planting activities and mountain hiking. There is swimming activity and safety precautions.

Brief History:
Filamer Christian University ROTC Unit was activated pursuant to general order number 541 General Headquarters, Armed Forces of the Philippines Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City dated April 28, 2003 and with one cross-enrolled school which is the Capiz Institute of Electronics located at Rooseville Heights, Roxas City. The implementation of the Philippine Republic Act No. 9163, Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) was incorporated into National Service Training Program.
